NCPP and the Big Screen

Around this time last year we were in the throws of organizing our first in person NCPP, with the worlds drama all around us, and decisions happening daily about whether or not we would even be allowed to be back in person for our October show.

Once we hit summer time and things still weren't obvious we had to make a tough decision. Cancel our first in person show and take in online.

It was scary. Neither of us knew what the heck we were doing. We didn't know what platform to use, we didn't know how to put together a virtual show, we didn't know if we had realistic expectations or were selling ourselves short.

So many unknowns, and nothing could be known until it actually happened.

We just kept taking scary step after scary step until the week of the show, where we had a 2 day drama we'll call "The Upload of Doom." (But that's a story for another day.)

Since NCPP 2020, our first virtual show, we've had to make major adjustments and you all stuck it out with us and made both of our online shows a success!

As the times begin to change, again, and we have more opportunities to have in person gatherings we are adjusting again!

Many of you have expressed to us that you really want to have in person events, and we couldn't agree more!

We are so excited to announce that while we are still going to keep the virtual submission format for performances, we will be taking your performances from the small screen to the Big Screen and premiering this years NCPP in person at a MOVIE THEATRE!!

You heard that right!

On October 30th, 2021 we will all be watching the show together in Downtown Redwood City at the Century Cinemark Theatres! You are welcome (and encouraged) to dress up, come in costume, or not and enjoy the red carpet for our first movie premiere.

We are so excited and hope you are too! Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to registration and show day!
